Your First Session

Firstly you will meet your instructor who will take you through what will happen on your first session as well as introduce you to others within the club. Your instructor will also go through some basic etiquette, which will also incompass some safety points. |

The next stage is putting the mats out and warming up which will take you through a set of movements and exercises which will loosen your muscles and joints ready for training.

Your session is likely to start with some breakfalling, which we use to protect ourselves during training. Then onto the training, if it is your first time it is better to grab a higher grade or someone who has been there for a few sessions to get an idea of what to do.

If you are unsure with what you are doing then just ask the instructor. Do not get frustrated with yourself if you don't get it first time, many people don't (including your instructor)!
After the session once all the mats are away we will always go for a few drinks and you are of course always welcome to join us.
